People constantly wonder about their salvation. If you too have that concern, here are some scriptures you can read to help you be certain about your relationship to God. If you have believed in Jesus and you have confessed your sins and ask him to come into your life and be your savior, the Bible says that is the requirement for salvation. The Bible says that we can know for certain that we have eternal life if we have believed in Jesus as our Savior!
John 1:12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
John 3:36. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 5:24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
The Bible says that we did nothing to earn our salvation. God, because of His grace, has saved us.
Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
1 John 5:11-13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
